It really is nice to finally be on vacation! And I hope everyone is enjoying theirs!

Now that school's out for a while, I can finally begin to explore with my own personal artwork again. Lately I've been interested in gouache. I also want to get some time to focus on creating interesting composition, detail, and color.

I am also going to start working on creating an art blog in order to start working on marketing and as a jump off point to future art portfolio websites, etc.

It should be an exciting vacation and I hope it's full of artwork.

I apologize through and through for not posting much and not talking much. I do check messages and comment and favorite as I can; however, college is giving me a fist full and it's difficult to squeeze in my own personal work/ internet time.

Soon comes my fall break in October! I'm thinking of grabbing my gouache and working from there.

You know, all these people have these "100 theme challenges" and such. I too wish to have this "100 theme challenges." I'mma make a list, and when I so cannot think of anything, I'm going to pull it out of a box. Yeah.

D: Gosh gosh gosh. College is such a buzy place... so bitter sweet. I'm doing art, but the work load is crazy. It's difficult to do artwork I want and college artwork at the same time.

I'd upload the school artwork I'm doing, but it's a little too.... "abstract" for my tastes >.>. I'm sure if you wanted to see a bunch of ripped up paper thrown onto Bristol board, or random blobs of acrylic all over the place you could do that any time


Uhm..... o.o I've been trying out this new program, Corel Painter 12 on my Mac (since openCanvas is not exactly Mac friendly).

I like how they've integrated painting into the digital arts, however, the lag. THE LAG. :< I was working on a new piece, and suddenly my picture just freaks the hell out man. Just freaks... the hell out. I was getting rainbow beach balled all over the place. I don't know what the hell caused it, but I don't really like the down time..

I wonder if there's any other programs that work like Painter in the sense that they mimic a wide variety of paintbrush tools but don't lag like it haha ;A;
